Import-Export Logistics Service

Transport.
On a request from the users, tmT can provide the following services:

	Transport service of full batches on request between tmT and the PB and vice versa.
	Transport service of full containers, on request, between tmT and the PB and vice versa.
	Organisation on a national level of shipments, collection and distribution of the goods exported and imported.

Container logistics
This service will make it possible to have containers permanently in tmT, which will facilitate operations by the Port of Barcelona. This type of service will include:

	A container depot at the tmT for use by the freight forwarders of the region
	Storage of containers in tmT
	Handling of full and empty containers
	Cleaning and repair.

Cargo logistics.
This is a complementary service to the international trade operations that will allow freight forwarders to extend their services to importers and exporters. The main types of services are:

	Public bonded warehouse
	Grouping and degrouping of full containers
	Storage of imported and exported goods
	Handling of goods
	Preparation of orders and picking
	Preparation of orders and picking
	Stock management
	Pre- and post-manufacturing
	Co-packing
	Tailor-made preparations

Service standards.
Logistics services linked to import and export operations through the Port of Barcelona are covered by the following standards of quality:

a. Tracing of shipment. Commitment to provide, on request of the user - or in an automated form in the future - information referring to the status of the shipment and in particular the despatch of the goods from tmT and the arrival of the goods at their destination.

b. Information on incidences. Rapid communication to the user of any delay or incidence that may have arisen during the passage of the goods through tmT and in the transport between tmT and the Port of Barcelona, if using the service offered by tmT.

c. Safety standards of the goods. tmT has a safety system for minimising risks incurred by the goods in the platform and in the transport operations between tmT and the Port of Barcelona.

d. Service reliability standard.
This includes the following elements:
- Guarantee of the deadline for the receipt or delivery of goods at tmT.
- Guarantee of the deadline for transfer onto land transport if the user makes use of the transport service connecting tmT with the Port of Barcelona.
- Guarantee of the deadline for local collection/distribution.

e. Information and transparency standard. Commitment to respond to users' requests for information and complaints in a maximum of two working days.
