The Toulouse Maritime Terminal (tmT) is a new concept of inland port for the facilitating of international maritime trade. It is also a strategic initiative of the port of Barcelona to facilitate the permanent presence of the port in this market and to set apart its new offer of services backed by guaranteed standards of quality.

The tmT initiative makes use of the synergy between two distinct components:

- A neutral French logistics operator, approved by the port of Barcelona, in charge of the technical management and marketing of the services of the platform between the freight forwarders and other operators using tmT.

- A promotional structure involving the port of Barcelona, responsible for publicising the port's offer of services among the operators and among the importers and exporters, as well as keeping a close watch on the quality of the services and customer service.

As proof of the interest of this new offer for the area, the promotion structure will also receive the support of the Conseil Régional de Midi-Pyrenées and the Conseil Général de Haute-Garonne.

The tmT is a neutral partner for the freight forwarders and other operators in international commerce that offers features designed to achieve an efficient use of the port of Barcelona and a guaranteed level of service.
